NOTICE OF PROJECT PLAN PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Ishpeming will hold a public hearing on the proposed Water System Improvements project for the purpose of receiving comments from interested persons.
The hearing will be held at 5:00 p.m. on May 30th at the following location: City of Ishpeming Council Chambers located at 100 E Division Street, Ishpeming, MI 49849.
The purpose of the proposed project is the removal and replacement of aged and failing water infrastructure located within the City of Ishpeming.
Project construction will involve the removal and replacement of aged and undersized water main, lead/galvanized water services, looping of dead end water main, upgrades to the water tank, and associated appurtenances.
Impacts of the proposed project include the increased reliability of the water system.
The proposed project cost is estimated at $20,000,000.
