Al Quaal Tubing Hill Update
Due to the current warm temperatures and lack of snow, the City does not believe it is safe to operate the Tubing Hill this weekend.
The hill has been groomed and there is enough staff hired to run the hill, however, with current conditions, the bottom portion of the hill is very slushy. The slush and warm temperatures have made the hill slow-going with tubers only able to make it ¾ of the way down the hill and unable to walk to the pick-up point.
Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to evaluate the conditions of the Tubing Hill for its opening.
