DESCRIPTION:10-26-17 Special DDA Meeting \nOn Thursday\, October 26\, 2017\, the City of Ishpeming will host a public meeting at City Hall to discuss community/downtown revitalization. Several experts in the field of property development and redevelopment\, and also historic preservation will be visiting to provide a presentation to the community and answer questions. The visit is being paid for by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) as part of the Project Empire initiative. \nRefreshments will be served at 5:30 pm. The official presentation/discussion will begin at about 6:00 pm with a period of public comment and discussion until about 7:30 pm on Thursday\, October 26\, 2017. The public is welcome.
