JOHN’S CHURCH\, 325 SOUTH PINE STREET \nThe Election is being held to vote on the following: \nMARQUETTE-ALGER REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AGENCY \nSPECIAL EDUCATION MILLAGE PROPOSAL \nThis proposal will increase the levy by the intermediate school district of special education millage previously approved by the electors. \nShall the limitation on the annual property tax previously approved by the electors of Marquette-Alger Regional Educational Service Agency\, Michigan\, for the education of students with a disability be increased by 1.5 mills ($1.50 on each $1\,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of 20 years\, 2023 to 2042\, inclusive; the estimate of the revenue the intermediate school district will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2023 is approximately $4\,765\,811 from local property taxes authorized herein \n*********************************************************************************** \nThe Polls for the said Election will be open from\n7 o’clock A.M.\, and remain open until 8 o’clock P.M. of the same Election Day.\n  \n
