Update on postponement of restoration from the construction season – Payne and Dolan

RESIDENT / BUSINESS NOTIFICATION
Dear Resident,
As part of our efforts to restore the areas impacted by this season’s construction to pre- construction conditions, we want to inform you that any restoration work not yet completed, including sidewalks, topsoil, and grass, will be finished in the spring of 2026.
Due to the recent cold temperatures, any restoration completed late this fall would not have resulted in proper grass germination or long-term success. By waiting to complete this work in the spring, we can ensure a quality finished product under more favorable weather conditions.
We appreciate your patience as we allow the ground to rest through the winter months. Our crews will return as soon as conditions permit in the spring to complete all restoration work and continue work on the City of Ishpeming’s infrastructure in other areas of the city.
