PART-TIME LIBRARY CLERK
The City of Ishpeming is taking applications for a part-time Library Clerk position at the Carnegie Public Library. Customer service experience, advanced technology skills, and the ability to work independently are required. The position is approximately 20 hours per week which includes some Saturday hours. Starting salary is $14.42 per hour. Job duties will include ensuring the smooth circulation of library materials, providing excellent patron-facing services, and assisting with the schedule of library programming.

MECHANIC
The City of Ishpeming is accepting applications for a Mechanic in the Department of Public Works. Work includes repairs and maintenance of light, heavy, automotive and special equipment including diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic lines, auxiliary equipment, generators, compressors, etc.; performs routine maintenance checks; and diagnoses repairs and takes corrective measures. A valid State of Michigan driver’s license with a CDL endorsement, or ability to obtain a CDL within 45 days of hire, and an excellent driving record is required. The starting wage is $24.23 per hour and includes a benefit package.

PART-TIME SUMMER LABORERS
The City of Ishpeming is seeking students interested in working part time at the Ishpeming Cemetery and Parks. The hours are primarily 7:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, however, hours may vary and could include some weekend hours. Wage is $12.00/hour.
