The City of Ishpeming Police Department is looking to hire one full time Patrol Officer.
The City of Ishpeming is seeking a self-motivated and conscientious individual to serve as a Patrol Officer. This position is responsible for providing police services to the City of Ishpeming in accordance with State, Federal and local laws. The position comes with full benefits, shift premium’s and the City offers an ACT 345 pension plan upon retirement.
Candidates must be MCOLES certifiable, have a high school diploma, and possess a valid Michigan driver’s license. A Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred. Testing consists of oral interview, extensive background investigation, physical and psychological examinations.

Part-Time Tube Slide Workers
The City of Ishpeming is seeking college students interested in working part time at the Ishpeming tube slide. The hours are primarily weekends during regular operations from 11:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. or for private rentals which take place Thursday through Sunday in the evening. Hours are variable.
