The Public Works Department is located at 208 S. Lake St., next to the Police Department/Fire Hall. Regular office hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

City Hall is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with exception of the Summer Hours listed below.
Summer Hours: Beginning on Monday, June 2, 2025 and running through Friday, August 29, 2025 the hours of operations for Ishpeming City Hall and the Department of Public Works will be as follows:
City Hall – Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: Closed to the public
DPW – Monday–Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday: Closed
