Community Listening Session: Ishpeming

City of Ishpeming residents are invited to attend an in-person community listening session on Saturday, September 23. This is an interactive session, where we want to hear from you as part of our strategic communication effort. 

Results from the public survey that took place over the summer will be shared by Siren, the City’s strategic communication partner. 

This is a chance to share your impressions of the city with us, so we can continue to learn what matters to our residents

• What do you enjoy about Ishpeming?  
• What challenges and issues are you and your neighbors currently facing?
• How can we improve communication and what kind of information is most important to you 
• Your overall perception of of Ishpeming and its leaders 

Information from the community listening session will be shared with city leadership and used to help move Ishpeming forward, and to guide communication efforts to meet the needs of residents. 

When: Saturday, September 23, 2023

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Where: Ishpeming Multi-Purpose Senior Center (121 Greenwood Street) 

Within Ishpeming’s wonderful multi-purpose senior center there is space for many participants, but we do want to be mindful of a comfortable atmosphere that’s not too crowded. Please plan to RSVP if you’d like to participate in the listening session.
