IFD Neighborhood Block Party

This Thursday, July 27 from 4:30pm-7:00pm the City of Ishpeming Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a Neighborhood Block Party and the entire community is invited. We are located at 100 S. Lake Street, right in the heart of the downtown.
Your Firefighters will be there providing hotdogs, chips, pop & water for all (free of charge).
We’ll have tours of the Fire Hall, similar to what we had for the Historical Home’s tour late in June that was very successful. We’ll have our fire trucks and equipment on display for kids young and old to check out. The Firefighters will be there to answer any of your questions.
We’ll also have an aerial ladder fire truck at our Fire Hall for you to view. If the Fire Equipment bond is approved by voters in the August 8th 2017 special election, this is the type of aerial ladder fire truck we will seek to acquire.
