Tube Slide Hours of Operation
Due to the weather conditions, the tube slide will be closed during the weekend of January 11 – 13, 2013.
Regular hours: Saturdays and Sundays from Noon to 5pm.
The tube slide is located in the Al Quaal Recreation Area. From U.S. Hwy 41, turn north on Hickory Street. Drive 5 blocks and you will enter the Al Quaal Recreation Area. Tickets are available at the Teal Lake Lodge.
Rates:
$8.00 per person
$60.00 for groups of ten
The Tube Slide and the Teal Lake Lodge are available for private rentals. Please contact the Department of Public Works at 486-9371.
Al Quaal Lodge Rental
Planning a Birthday Party? Retirement? Toboggan Party? Graduation? Al Quaal Recreation Area offers three different rental units:
- Al Quaal Lodge
- Teal Lake Lodge
- Pavilion
Rates vary depending upon the number of rental hours and Resident/Non-Resident status.

2012 – 2013 Season Pass:
- Adult: $35.00
- Student: $25.00
- Family: $80.00
- Daily Pass: $7.00 – All ages
Passes available at the Ishpeming City Hall, DPW Office, Wilderness Sports and the U.S. Ski Hall of Fame.
