IMPORTANT NOTICE TO RESIDENTS-Water and Sewer Backups

We have recently experienced an increase in water and sewer backups across the community due to the Wastewater Treatment Plant operating at full capacity. We understand how frustrating and disruptive this can be, and we are actively working on solutions.
In the meantime, we are asking for your help to reduce the strain on the system. If your home has a sump pump that is currently discharging into the sanitary sewer, please redirect it to discharge outside or into a storm sewer. Discharging sump pumps into the sanitary sewer system adds a significant amount of extra water for the plant to treat, especially during wet conditions.
By making this adjustment, you can help lower the volume entering the treatment system and reduce the risk of backups for you and your neighbors.
