Draft Master Plan Public Review Notice
The City of Ishpeming Planning Commission has prepared a draft housing update to the City’s Master Plan in accordance with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act.
The draft Master Plan is available for public review for a period of not less than forty-two (42) days prior to adoption. During this time, the City is seeking comments from residents, property owners, neighboring communities, and other interested stakeholders.

A public hearing before the Planning Commission will be held at their meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to receive additional public input prior to adoption.
